ESA and the Open Geospatial Consortium have a long lasting collaboration and a common interest in innovation, data integration and developing standards.
During last week’s 120th OGC meeting, co-located with Singapore Geospatial Festival 2021, OGC CEO Nadine Alameh and ESA’s Head of Strategy, Programme & Coordination Office Simonetta Cheli held a fireside chat to informally discuss ESA’s Earth Observation focus and strategy in the context of a FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) geospatial information, as promoted by OGC.
