A set of required platform and processing resources is needed to stimulate the uptake of European resource tier providers hosting collocated data and platform service providers by science, development and pre-commercial users in the context of the Baltic Regional Initiative.
This will build upon existing resources within each region (platforms, collaborative ground segments, processing resources etc.) including both EO and non-EO data, models, databases etc.
The provision of the platform infrastructure will be facilitated by ESA under the so-called Network of EO Resources.
