Summary

The goal of the project is to develop a methodology and service prototype for ground deformation monitoring and landslide risk assessment using Sentinel-1 data. The Sentinel-1 data will be processed both by an internal chain based on commercial software (SARScape, performed by UL FGG) and by the SNAPPING service in the Geohazards TEP processing environment. This project extends the capability of the MASPREM system of GeoZS to better support early landslide monitoring and prediction in Slovenia. Based on the determined landslide velocities (performed by GeoZS), the project will provide continuous assessment of potential damage to vulnerable elements (buildings, roads, etc.) in landslide-prone areas.
