The aims of the EarthCARE+ Innovation project include, to develop a solid scientific understanding of EarthCARE data in the context of different scientific, operational and applications domains beyond the EarthCARE primary mission objectives.
To develop and validate novel retrieval methods and prototype products beyond the mission primary products and demonstrate their feasibility on a number of test cases.
To develop a scientific roadmap and formulate requirements for a potential full development of proposed novel scientific areas, applications or products.
