On 10 March 2020 the EO and AI for health and urban resilience workshop was transmitted in live streaming.
The main themes covered were:

- The Effects of Climate Change and Pollution on Human Health (particularly in the urban environment)
- Vector Borne Diseases, in particular zoonoses (e.g. West Nile Virus, Rift Valley Fever, Malaria)
- Waterborne Infectious Diseases (Cholera)
- Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence
This workshop was organised on the occasion of the mid-term review of the ESA project AI and EO as Innovative Methods for Monitoring West Nile Virus Spread (AIDEO), developed by a consortium led by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell’Abruzzo e del Molise (IZSAM), and in the context of the recently approved ESA Earth Observation FUTURE EO programme.
One of the themes covered by the latter is Resilience, with a particular focus on Health.
