A full week is just over of training on the theory and applications of land remote sensing, ranging from the theoretical fundamentals and advanced concepts of spaceborne optical, thermal and microwave remote sensing to hands on use of software tools for a variety of applications including urban mapping, change detection, fire detection, forestry, vegetation monitoring, land cover, flood mapping.
