The World Ocean Council (WOC) Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) is the annual gathering of the global Ocean Business Community dedicated to advancing private sector action on responsible use of the seas.
SOS 2019 theme was: “Investing in Ocean Futures: Finance and Innovation for the Blue Economy”, dedicated to investment and innovation for ocean sustainable development.
Under the theme OCEAN KNOWLEDGE, RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY, ESA co-organized a session on Blue Worlds: “The ESA Initiative Towards Space Projects Support for Sustainable Ocean Activities – The Case of Autonomous Shipping”.
