FEOSID – Further Expansion of EO Uptake Supporting International Development Bank Projects / Support for IADB

The objective of this activity is to demonstrate the improved capabilities of EO data for four specific activities of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB). These are 1) Effects of land titling in Peru; 2) Sustainable agriculture development in Guyana; 3) Monitoring of the water supply and irrigation programs in Bolivia and 4) Geospatial analysis as a tool for urban resilience in Vitória, Brazil. The project will have particular focus on the enhancements made possible by Copernicus data, an aspect that has not been addressed in the previous demonstration projects the team carried out for IADB (EOSID and EODAT projects), and which was specifically highlighted in the feedback received at the completion of those projects.
