CASSIA’s objective is to develop forest value assessment and temporal forest change detection monitoring service for insurances to detect e.g. storm and insect damages and provide damage evaluation and verification. Based on synergistic use of Sentinel-1 and -2 monitoring capabilities an early assessment of regional forest loss and related damage probability maps will be generated and provided as web based service.
