Antarctica InSync Implementation Workshop

The Antarctica InSync Implementation Workshop 2026 will bring together the international polar research community to advance the implementation of Antarctica InSync, a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen coordinated, multidisciplinary observations across Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
Hosted at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati, the four-day workshop will focus on turning the scientific vision of Antarctica InSync into coordinated action. Participants will work together on the development, harmonisation and adoption of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), plans for joint instrument deployments, coordination of upcoming expeditions and projects, and common approaches to data management and publication.
