Invitation to Tender: “ADVANCED METHODS FOR RESILIENCE ACTIVITY”

ESA has issued a new Invitation to Tender aimed at advancing the exploitation of Earth Observation data through innovative signal processing methods and technologies to support resilience and security-related applications.

The activity will focus, in particular, on:

  • Advanced target motion analysis : advanced techniques for velocity estimation and movement characterisation of targets
  • 3D target characterisation : innovative methods for the three-dimensional characterisation of vessels, port assets and other critical infrastructures
  • Dynamic signatures and micro-motion : innovative techniques for the characterisation of dynamic signatures and micro-motion of targets and critical infrastructures
  • Joint AIS–Sentinel-1 exploitation : innovative techniques combining AIS information with Sentinel-1 data
  • Long-wavelength SAR applications : innovative applications exploiting long-wavelength SAR datasets
  • Advanced processing service chains : improved processing chains integrating advanced signal processing modules into operationally relevant frameworks.

The activity is intended to foster the development and demonstration of advanced EO processing capabilities and facilitate their integration into applications addressing resilience and security needs.
