Scientific activities to be carried out in these positions will focus on the following thematic priorities:
- Hydrology and the water cycle
- Terrestrial carbon cycle
- Biodiversity
- Ocean science
- Polar science and cryosphere research
- Atmosphere research.
Applicants should have a PhD in physics, engineering or Earth system science with research experience and peer-reviewed publications in relevant topics for the proposed fields.
Selected fellows will work at the new-born Science Hub in ESRIN, Frascati, Italy.
