RUS Remote Training: Ship detection with Sentinel-1 using SNAP S-1 toolbox

The remote training will employ the ESA SNAP Sentinel-1 Toolbox to demonstrate ship detection as an example of maritime surveillance using Sentinel-1 satellite-borne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
The session will consist of a live demonstration, followed by a time to repeat the exercise on pre-configured RUS Virtual Machines with live support from the RUS EO expert team. The session will close with live Q&A.
This training is primarily dedicated to participants from start-ups and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), but will of course be open to all applicants.
