The Geosciences Information for Teachers (GIFT) Programme, organised by the European Geosciences Union (EGU) offers teachers of primary school to high school the opportunity to upgrade their knowledge in geophysical themes and to shorten the time between new discoveries and textbook information. Each workshop focuses on particular themes. For more general information on EGU GIFT, visit the programme main website.
ESA often contributes to these events by providing theoretical and practical training related to the theme of the workshop and by giving an overview of ESA’s EO missions and exploitation programmes.
