At the Living Planet Symposium 2025, EarthCODE played a central role in promoting Open and FAIR Science as part of ESA’s wider commitment to open science principles. The team delivered hands-on workshops, tutorials, and one-on-one sessions aimed at onboarding projects into the Open Science Catalogue and the ESA Project Results Repository (PRR). These sessions helped researchers increase the visibility, accessibility, and long-term impact of their datasets and workflows.
Throughout the week, EarthCODE showcased its integrated platforms and tools—such as EDC, PolarTEP, openEO, and DeepESDL—that enable reproducible, FAIR-compliant research. The community response was overwhelmingly positive, with many projects expressing interest in publishing their outputs and collaborating further. This strong engagement reinforces EarthCODE’s mission to support a thriving, interoperable ecosystem for Open Earth Science.
