SUMMARY:RUS Webinar: Bathymetry Derivation with Sentinel-2
DESCRIPTION:Copernicus Sentinel-2 is a wide-swath\, high-resolution\, multi-spectral imaging mission\, also supporting water cover monitoring. \nThe acquired data\, mission coverage and high revisit frequency are particularly effective for Satellite Derived Bathymetry (SDB) application.\n\nThis webinar will focus on SDB using the ratio transform algorithm developed by Stumpf et al. (2003)\, with the use of Sentinel-2 imagery for depth derivation and the regression parameters retrieval.\n\nThe webinar will also show how to access the RUS Service and how to download\, process\, analyse and visualize the free data acquired by the Copernicus satellites. It will end with a Q&A session. \n\n\nApply from Monday 22nd of March 2021 – Thursday 8th of April 2021 \nThe RUS Service is funded by the European Commission\, managed by the European Space Agency and operated by CSSI and its partners. Serco Italia SPA is leading the RUS Training component. \n\n\n
