The Sustainable and Adaptive Agriculture Solutions activity comprises four coordinated projects advancing Earth Observation (EO) enabled methods to address emerging agricultural challenges.
- Crop Yield Estimation and Forecasting at Parcel Level will develop EO and AI enhanced approaches for yield forecasting and anomaly detection (24 months).
- Next Generation Thermal Products for Crop Health and Water Use Monitoring will deliver harmonized thermal infrared products generating actionable information for agricultural production (48 months).
- WorldCultivate will establish a policy ready EO capability providing indicators that link crop performance and land suitability to support land use planning and food sovereignty (36 months).
- WorldIrrigation will develop a global EO solution for monitoring irrigation occurrence, water consumption, productivity, and withdrawal (36 months).
