The 2nd ESA Carbon Science Cluster: Terrestrial Carbon Constellation – Research Opportunities is intended to support innovative scientific developments in the carbon research domain with special focus on the terrestrial carbon component as a direct response to the 1st Carbon Science Coordination meeting (June 2021), the 4th Carbon from Space meeting (Oct 2022) and as part of the ESA Carbon Science Cluster which aims at exploiting the full potential offered by the wide range of existing and upcoming European EO satellites and contributing to the establishment of a strong European carbon cycle research area in close collaboration with relevant initiatives, programmes and partners such as the European Commission Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG-RTD).
This ITT seeks proposals on the following:
Theme 1: Land use Dynamics and the Carbon Cycle
Theme 2: Carbon Data Enquiry and Benchmarking
